Clergy Coaching - Our Background

We understand both the joys and challenges of serving congregations. Rob has been ordained as an Episcopal priest for over 25 years and has served as an intentional interim in small University Chapels, rural congregations, mid-sized suburban parishes and multi-staffed large Cathedral churches. He has also worked as a church consultant in strategic visioning processes, conflict mediation and in congregational and diocesan clergy search processes. In addition to his years of church experience Rob is internationally recognized as a leader in the use of appreciative inquiry in church settings.

Our Clergy Clients

We have provided coaching to newly ordained clergy all the way through to experienced clergy and Bishops. They have also come from a wide variety of denominations and backgrounds. The coaching relationships have also involved very different time frames. Some have been brief as clergy have sought assistance to resolve a specific issue and with other clergy the coaching relationship has spanned several years of collaborative thinking and strategizing. Coach Training for Church Leaders

In addition to providing Coaching, the Clergy Leadership Institute also provides appreciative inquiry based Coach Training for those who would like to develop their coaching skills.

We offer a blend of residential intensives and teleconferences to train you to appreciatively use your gifts for the benefit of others.
