Cruise activities are also available for children if you desire to make it a family vacation. The cruise program can be taken independently of other training or as part of our Sabbatical Programs In This Training You Will: Gain an in depth understanding of Appreciative Inquiry Share the learning experience with your spouse Conduct an appreciative inquiry into their own life work Appreciatively review and develop your personal mission Learn practical appreciative tools to apply in daily life Discover positive alternatives to viewing life as a series of problems to be solved Learn how to be an appreciative presence in the world Although designed with clergy and their spouses in mind the cruise is open to single clergy and would also be appropriate for anyone engaged in ministry and can articulate and reflect theologically and psychologically on their life work. The Appreciative Inquiry program is the foundational program upon which all the other Clergy Leadership programs are based and will qualify the participant to take other Clergy Leadership Programs such as: Interim Ministry, Soul Friending, and Coach Training Training Schedule and Format: The training is conducted during the "at sea" time of the cruise. Didactic presentations Personal practice and experience of appreciative process Time for personal reflection and synthesis Corporate prayer Opportunity for creative reflection on the past and anticipation of the future Costs Appreciative inquiry tuition costs are $500 per person or $750 per couple. Please see the specific cruise for cruise costs as they vary depending on the options selected. Please note that cruise costs are quoted "Per Person" but the rooms are double occupancy meaning that if you desire to cruise alone you will pay double the quoted per person rate. We are open to single people bringing a guest or sharing their cabin. Presenter Rob Voyle is an ordained Episcopal priest, psychologist, and coach. He is the Director of the Clergy Leadership Institute. Rob was an original faculty member, and taught for five years at the College of Executive Coaching where he taught and coached hundreds of personal and executive coaches how to use appreciative inquiry as a basis for their coaching work. Rob is an accomplished speaker and trainer, who brings whit and heart to his training.
